Like everyone else in the world, I've been tossed and turned, cut and burned. But like the mythical and beautiful phoenix bird, I keep rising from the ashes and starting anew. This entire site reads as "getting to know you".
There will be times it reads dark and twisty, and hopefully times when it will make you laugh. But whatever happens, I hope a connection is made, and you feel good, and not just another peace of ash.

Meet a storyteller who's been spinning tales since before the days of light-up sneakers and Tamagotchis. From penning her first screenplay at 13 to releasing three albums before hitting the ripe age of 18, she's lived a life of creative twists and turns - and she's not done yet, folks! With a knack for world-building that could rival the most elaborate IKEA instructions, she's now diving into a fantasy novel, a couple of middle-grade books, aspiring to launch a social enterprise, and still finding time to ponder deep questions like "Am I the chosen one?" (Hint: in her latest book, even that's up for debate). Fiercely creative and relentlessly kind, she writes from the heart, believing that every story, song, and character she creates has the power to leave readers laughing, crying, and maybe even seeing the world a little differently.
Okay, now for real...
I feel like you'll get to know me pretty damn well from reading this blog. I don't know what more I can divulge here. I'm an empath. I've survived trauma, both basic and serious. I have and continued to struggle with emotions; love, anger, compassion, sadness. Mostly with self-love. I struggle with juggling and navigating realities; my own, my children's, my husband's, my family's, and strangers.
I'm a creative; I love to write, and sing, and draw.
To reveal my art to others is to reveal my true self.
It hurts when someone doesn't 'get it', but that's my problem, not theirs.
I wish the world were a kinder place, filled with more love, empathy, and understanding. Sometimes I have the energy to help make and be the change I want to see, and sometimes, I don't. But I do believe in leading with love and kindess.
